You’re My Soul

What if I tell you
Poetry is not my thing
Till you became my theme

What if tell you
I was just a corpse without you
For you’re not just my soulmate
You’re my soul, it requires no debate

What if I tell you
That pain was my playmate
Till you and I have a date
Now he has to wait
Cox, I fall for you despite the gate

Let me tell you, Deary
You’re the prize in my diary
And your love is my life theory
The X in my equation
Yet the reason for my supplication
You’re the treasure of my castle and the regulator of my attention.

NEITHER OF OUR FUTURE IS SAFE!BYABUBAKAR AHMAD INUWA

The future (those moments yet to be experienced) is not safe, neither proletarian nor bourgeoisie. We are all vulnerable, no matter your status, you’re still not safe. Been safe; is been secure. While, security according to Arnold Wolfers(1962) security is an objective sense, measures the absence of threats to acquire values, while, on the other hand (subjective sense) is the absence of fear that such values might be attacked. Security simply means the absence of threat to our lives and properties or lack of freedom. Therefore, using Wolfers definition I can say none of us is safe, neither proletarian nor bourgeoisie.

Our life is now vulnerable, to threat because we are not secured. We’re cuddled with fear that our cherished values might or would-be attacked.
Could you imagine a writer is afraid to voice out his thoughts, feelings, and beliefs! Those in the upper class are afraid that the lower class struggle is to wheel out of their class for good. And the lower class are struggling to earn a title nor property to avoid discrimination and maltreatment. The struggle of the classes, expose our society to threats (criminality).

Security consists of three majors, which having two won’t make you secured. These three majors are:
1: Absence of threat to our lives
2: Absence of threat to our properties
3: Or lack of freedom

Absence of threat to our lives: this is referring to the safeness of our lives in this world. Which I’m sure we arent. If you’re not been threatened by bandits or kidnappers you will surely be threatened by hunger (poverty).

Absence of threat to our properties: this major focus on the safety of our properties. Which they are not safe. Bet me, if your properties are not threatened by thieves, they will be threatened by economic crisis (lack of resources).

Lack of freedom: these major is concerned with the freedom and welfare of the individuals in the community. And freedom is the lack of a specific constraint or constraints in general; a state of being free, unconstrained. It’s the condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externally imposed restraints.

Without a second thought, I would say we are not free because we are both tight with either rope of fear, or race rope.
Using the above paragraphs as a reference, I said and you said, we both say and know that we are not secured. Because being secured is leaving out of the cage of threat in the prison of fear at the realm of insecurity.
The sad reality is that our lives are not saved in our hands’, talk-less of others (the ruling class and criminals). Our hands is afraid to share a shadow with our teeth, thinking that the teeth might find the hand or label it as a sweetable target. King is not safe in the palace; when the prince is grown.
For we build, maintain and quench our thirst with selfishness (A race in dark track).
How can we be safe in the hands of others? When we’re afraid to share our success with our families and friends due to the insecurity we have in our thoughts and beliefs.

An absence of threat to property can only be put in place when there is the property. But we are now in a roof where pot seems luxurious, and we sleep with one eye open thinking that; we might wake up and saw the hut we call shield in a wind for the ruling class want and air for their cattle’s.
We would only be safe when we have faith in our safes and believe that teeth are stronger than the tongue because the tongue is the one enjoying the taste.
Security will only be functional in our community when the two institutions come together and work with no sentiment, ego, and look at one another with no green eye.

Epoch Of Humanity

There was a country
In which hope is homeless
And not obvious in the peasantry
For the roof is dying of bleakness

What a nation
You Judge without justification
And value not education
Yet claim civilization

With hat in hand
We cry to the matter in hand
A solution we pray for
But we’re denied knowing the value of four

A live dog is better than a dead lion
Let us live as lions, but not in a zion
Let us bark and enjoy the pleasure of the sound
For we don’t want to roar in silent ground.
